Holistic Treatments

Holistic Pain Solutions

Our bodies are quite adept at repairing themselves. We use methods that aid that natural ability with modalities like acupuncture, nutrition, and physical manipulations, like myofascial release and cupping.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the Traditional Chinese Medicine system. Simply put, acupuncture is performed by stimulating designated points on the body -- through the insertion of needles, finger pressure, the application of heat, or a combination of all these treatments.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is a safe, painless, and non-invasive technique, is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for several thousand years.

Cupping is generally recommended for the treatment of pain, chronic disease and musculoskeletal pain, gastrointestinal disorders, lung diseases (especially chronic cough and asthma), and paralysis, neck, shoulder pain, arthritis, low back pain, numbness of the arms and legs, etc.

Facial Rejuvenation

In the Traditional Chinese Medicine view, facial features reflect the overall health of the individual. This holistic approach treats the source of the symptoms, as well as the symptoms themselves. For example, the stimulation from the acupuncture needles and stimulation of the facial muscles promotes blood flow as well as the skin's ability to produce collagen and elastin leading to skin rejuvenation and tightening of the skin, improvement in skin tone and texture, reduction of fine lines, puffiness, tighter pores, and wrinkles, reduced facial sagging, as well as the reduction of dark eye circles and eye bags.

Massage Therapy

The therapeutic massage is also called Tuina that uses the Traditional Chinese medical theory of the flow of Qi through the meridian as its basic therapeutic orientation.

Tuina methods include the use of hand techniques to massage the soft tissue (muscles and tendons) of the body, acupressure techniques to directly affect the flow of Qi, and manipulation techniques to realign the musculoskeletal and ligamentous relationships (bone- setting).

Civilizations in the East and West found that natural healing and massage could heal injuries, relieve pain, and prevent and cure illnesses, What's more, it helped reduce stress and produce deep relaxation.

Foot Reflexology is a treatment that involves applying pressure to different points on the foot. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, these points correspond to different areas of the body. They are believed to have multiple benefits, including reducing stress, aiding digestion, and promoting sound sleep and pain management.

Head massage is a style massage that focuses on the head, neck and shoulder. A head massage applies a range of techniques to help reduce stress and release tension in the upper body. Massaging the scalp can help stimulate nerves and blood vessels around the area and begin to calm muscles tension around the head.
